Section 6: Organization Registration 

 

6.1. How do I register organization on the Platform Website?

 

To register an organization on the Platform Site, you must:

1. To access the user menu by clicking on the link with your name in the upper right corner of the Site.

2. Select and click on the Create Organization link in the popup menu

3. You will then go to the Create Organization page:

4, On the organization page you will see 9 information blocks in which you can place information about the organization. We will detail each form field of these blocks in the section "Cabinet of the Organization". To register an organization, you just need to fill in the following fields:

Registration data block

Email - Enter the email address of the organization

Nickname - Latin for a short name that will be affixed to your page on the Platform Site.

Example:

Registration Date - Enter your organization's registration date

Short name - The short name of the organization or abbreviation

Full Name - The full name of the organization

Organization Type - Choose your organization type (see the "Organization Types" section for a detailed description of the types).

Industries - Specify the industries in which the organization is involved

Contact Information Block

Phone - Provide an organization phone

Short description - Add a few words about the purpose or mission of the organization.

5. Click the 'Save' button at the end of the page to save your input:

6. The organization is directed to moderation of the Administrator and it will appear in public after its review.

7. Once your organization has been validated and appears in the Organizations Directory, it will be necessary to add to the page the Participants' Organization Team of the Participants section, and assign roles to them.

 

6.2. Roles of organization members

 

After the organization appears in the Directory of the organization, you will need to add members to its page and give them roles.

Platform Services provides the following roles for members of the Organization: Administrator, moderator, member.

Organization Page Administrator - Has the right to add members to the Organization, grant members the rights of Administrator or Moderator.

Organization Page Moderator - Has the opportunity to moderate the Content offered by members of the organization.

Organization Page Member - Have the opportunity to post a Post, Message, or Idea on behalf of the Organization.

To assign an Administrator or Administrators to an organization's page and to assign other members to their roles, you must:

1. Find the Organization in the Directory of Organizations.

1. Find the Organization in the Directory of Organizations.

2. Go to the Organizations page by clicking on the link - the name of the Organization:

3. Go to the Organization Cabinet by clicking on the "Edit" button.

4. Find the Team block on the Organization's Cabinet page:

5. Click on the Add Member icon.

6. In the window that appears enter the data of the organization member:

User Field - Member Name (platform intelligent system will help you find a member if he is registered on the Platform Site).

Role field - select one of three member roles on the organization page: Administrator, Moderator, Member.

Position field - Specify the official position occupied by the participant in the organization.

7. Click "Add".

8. In the "Team" section, a block will appear showing information about the user, his role and position in the organization.

9. The public page of the organization is also changing. It will also show information about the member of the organization, but only the position information will appear on the member's tab. Information about his role on the page is official and not public.

After registering a user on the organization page as a member of his or her profile, information will appear that he or she is a member of a particular organization:

 

6.3. Types of organizations

 

Outside all organizations on the platform site are divided into: Public, Government, Commercial, Educational Institutions, Coalitions.

Public

Non-governmental organizations are registered as officially registered, so there are non-governmental organizations and associations without official registration.

Types of NGOs:

  • Public Association
  • Non-Governmental Organization (NGO)
  • Charitable Foundation (BF)
  • Religious organization
  • Population Self-Organization Body (BCH)
  • Representation of a foreign NGO
  • Creative Union
  • Trade union
  • Association of co-owners of apartment buildings (ACAB) 

Government

Governmental organizations include all local governments and other institutions of state power.

Types of government organizations

  • United Territorial Community (OTG)
  • City administration
  • Village administration
  • City Council
  • Village Council

Commercial

Commercial institutions include such institutions as:

  • Private Enterprise (PP)
  • Limited Liability Company (LLC)

Schools

We have placed educational institutions in a separate category. The educational institutions include:

  • School
  • Lyceum
  • College
  • Technical school
  • Institute
  • University
  • Academy
  • Conservatory

Coalitions

Joining citizens or NGOs into separate organizational structures to achieve a common goal is a clear and logical step. Moreover, such structures have more potential. The Coalition includes:

  • Public Platform
  • Union of citizens
  • Association
